Our Story

In early 2022, I fell pregnant with Harry. I’d never guess that my pregnancy journey would lead me to launching my own business Mummi, but here we are!

It all started in the first trimester, everything seemed under control but by the second my favourite outfits were out the window, and I was on the hunt for new options!

As someone who’s always loved fashion, I thought this would be easy! How wrong I was! I struggled for months, googling, and visiting stores trying to find anything locally that was stylish and functional that I could wear both during pregnancy and after... I gave up, it didn’t exist.

Friends and family who were new mums back home in Brazil didn’t have these problems! Patterns, colours and beauty are part of our culture, and we have one of the largest textile and clothing industries in the world.

This was my lightbulb moment, what if I could not only solve my problem but also help other fashionable mums and mums to be to stay true to their style at home, during pregnancy and beyond.

This started the long road of planning, researching, sourcing and a trip to Brazil to meet suppliers before placing our first order and launching MUMMI into the Australian market in 2023.

We are excited to continue to write this story with you and share our journey and hope it inspires you to come and celebrate motherhood with us.
